Release Date Of Bengali Horror Film Rish Announced
The release date announcement for the upcoming Bengali film Rish took place in the presence of the cast and crew of the film.
The story of Rish is about a little girl who will be possessed by an evil soul that will try to destroy her family and kill her too. Rish is a journey of Abir, Mandira, and their daughter Fiona through a horrific phase of life. What will happen to the family? Will they be killed by the evil soul or can they save themselves?
The film is directed by Preetam Mukherjee. “This is the first time that a six-year-old child was applied prosthetic makeup for a film. We have used sound effects to give the audience a horror feel. Hope the audience like the film” said the director.
Darshana Banik said, “We have tried hard to make an entertaining horror film. Please go to the halls and watch the film. Apart from a horror film, it has other elements as well”.
The story, screenplay, and dialogue are by Debarati Bhowmick.
The film is produced by Rupak Chatterjee and presented by Thinktank Entertainment.
The cast of the film consists of Saurav Das, Darshana Banik, Chandreyee Ghosh, Kiaana Mukherjee, Rumki Chatterjee, Piyali Mukherjee, Amitavo Chatterjee, Swati Mukherjee, and others.
Saurav Das said “This is a Bengali horror film that is releasing after a long time. For some time, we just have been watching English horror films. but with Rish, we have a Bengali horror film that has the Bengali emotions and sentiments”.
Kiaana plays the role of the child ghost in the film. The child actor mentioned that she had a great time shooting the film.

The film is slated for release on 24th June.
