R10 Academy under the guidance and mentorship of soccer icon Ronaldinho announced its inauguration and admission procedure for its first center in Kolkata. The center is set up at the sport-themed Greenfield township of Merlin Rise- the Sports Township at 6 Lane, Bishnupur, P.O & P.S: Rajarhat, Kolkata – 700135 Near Rajarhat Chowmatha Rajarhat.

Famous footballer Mehtab Hossain has presented football kits to the children of Mukti Rehabilitation Centre, an NGO based in Rajarhat and working for the rehabilitation of substance abuse children. Mr. Satyen Sanghvi, Director, Merlin Group was also present on the occasion.

“Over 200 different countries play the game of football. In Europe, there are many football academies, and we need top-notch ones here. For bringing the Ronaldinho Football Academy to Kolkata, I am grateful to Merlin. We hope that children will receive training here and those talented players from Bengal will have the opportunity to compete in various tournaments”, said renowned footballer Mehtab Hossain.

Under Ronaldinho’s direction, the R10 Academy was established. This is the second academy after Bangalore and the first in Eastern India. Soccer players with passion and talent can pursue football at the R10 Academy alongside academics, which is a soccer academy with a clear purpose. The academy will offer skill- and technique-based instruction created by football star Ronaldinho.

R10 Academy is a training facility that produces children and teenagers who are more capable, resilient, and successful in any field. For boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 17, R10 Academy offers a Virtues Program and an exclusive training system.

The training ecosystem at the R10 football academy is made to develop footballers. It provides the students with top-notch coaches, facilities, services, and opportunities. The training regimen was specially created by R10 Academy with the help of inspirational footballer Ronaldinho.

Aspirants will have access to both indoor and outdoor training facilities at the Merlin Rise center, and the center will also hire highly qualified coaches to instruct the players. The R10 Football Academy team, led by Ronaldinho, has been keeping an eye on the selection of the best coaching staff.

The center will work to teach all dribbling techniques as well as physical and mental growth that will enable the kids to overcome any obstacle in life. A reliable assessment system will also be offered by R10 Academy.
