The trailer and song launch of the film Circus er Ghora took place in the presence of the director duo Rajesh Dutta and Ipsita Roy Sarkar, producer Debasish Ghosh, Paran Bandhopadhyay, Saheb Chatterjee, Debaprasad Halder, and others.

The story of the film Circus er Ghora is about retired individuals namely Manik and Sudarshan. Manik’s son and daughter stay abroad. Sudarshan’s grandson is his only solace. A circus comes to their area and the kid is injured. What happens next?

Director Ipsita Roy Sarkar said “We planned to release the film on 20^th May but due to the pandemic it got delayed. A producer is a great person who said that they will release the film now. We have made a film on a horse named Toofan and have not hurt any animals during the shoot. The film has been shot at a circus”.

The cast of the film consists of Saheb Chatterjee, Paran Bandopadhyay, Dipankar De, Lily Chakraborty, Devlina Kumar, Indrani Halder, Gourab Chattopadhyay, and others.

Paran Bandopadhyay said “This is a very clever horse who stopped due to the pandemic. Now that the pandemic is not so strong, it has again regained its motion and will soon release in the cinema halls to entertain the audiences”.

Saheb Chatterjee said, “This is a good story with different layers and has enough drama to keep the audiences engaged. The relation between the grandfather and the grandson will attract the audiences”.

Debaprasad Halder said that shooting at the circus brought back the nostalgia for his younger days.

Udit who plays the grandson’s role was tensed initially when he heard that he will have to shoot for a film. He had not seen a circus before. Udit became excited when he saw the different games and antics shown at the circus.

The producer of the film is Debasish Ghosh.

The film will release on 8^th July.
