Dharmik Ekta Rathyatra Organized For The First Time To Spread Religious Unity
The very first Dharmik Ekta Rathyatra was organized on 1st July 2022 in the presence of well-known religious leaders of all religions, speakers, and presidents of organizations working for religious unity.
Religion, in the opinion of Dharmik Ekta Trust, is solely a matter of personal choice. While each of us has the equal right to practice and spread our own religion, we must also recognize that no one has the right to mistreat the beliefs or religion of another.
Dharmik Ekta Rathyatra is probably the only ‘Rathyatra’ in the entire country which is specially designed to spread awareness about Religious Harmony, Social responsibility, and Fundamental Duties.
The unique ‘Rath’ had no idol onboard. Instead, there are symbolic representations of various religious beliefs along with synchronized recitation and ‘path’ from the Quran, Bible, Geeta, Granth Sahib, and more.
Reputed NGOs like ‘Durbar Mahila Samannaye Committee’, ‘Pally Unnayan Samiti’, ‘All Bengal Woman Union’, ‘Nari Seva Samity’, along with a couple of notable personalities and elected members participated in this noble mission.
The first national session of Dharmik Ekta Sansad is being organized in Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata, West Bengal on 8th August 2022.
The rally began from Sonagachi Sovabazar and ended at Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata to spread the message of religious unity.
