Official Poster Launch Of Iskule Bioscope; Adventure As Theme In 2022
The official poster launch of Iskule Bioscope took place at the INIFD Lindsay Street campus.
This initiative began in 2017. This is the fifth year of this initiative. The main aim of this program was to make the kids of today’s times watch Bengali films and connect to their roots. They will also understand their rich heritage and culture.
The theme of Iskule Bioscope this year is Adventure.
A number of adventure films for kids in Bengali will be shown. Some of them are Sabuj Dwiper Raja, Phatik Chanda, Goopi Bagha Phire Elo, Patalghar, Adventures of Jojo, Dudhpither Gachh, Ladakh Chale Rickshawala, and Charaibeti.
Apart from screening the films, there will be interactive sessions for the students where they will be made to read, write and think in Bengali.
Director Pijush Saha who was present at the poster release event said “It is also our duty to make films for the children in Bengali. Content made in recent times has to be watched by the family members separately. Efforts need to be made so that there is content that can be watched by everyone. This will pull the students to watching more Bengali content suitable for their age”.
With INIFD Lindsay Street coming on board as the associate sponsor of this event, the kids will be made aware that there are more career options than the conventional ones.
The films will be shown in 20 schools in Kolkata and this will continue till 14th August.
