How Adda247 Helped Kolkata-Based Manoj Ghosh Bag PWD Directorate Job?
Life has its way of testing you, and the ones who overcome their failures are the real gems. This saying fits perfectly with Manoj Ghosh’s life journey. Like every other middle-class child, Kolkata-based Manoj had a dream of securing a government job. Coming from a humble background, his parents also wished for their son to settle and land a ‘Sarkari’ job. Manoj defied all odds and finally cleared the WBPSC clerkship exam.
Manoj started preparing for SSC CGL after graduating (B.SC) in 2018. While preparing for the SSC CGL exam, Manoj faced some setbacks and failed in PET despite succeeding in the Railways’ ‘level 1’ exam. With each failed attempt, the pressure kept mounting but he was determined to make his dream a reality. During his preparation, Manojrealised he needed a mentor to help him. He realized the importance of proper guidance and correct coaching. This was when he registered on Adda247, India’s No. 1 government test preparation, a move that was a blessing in disguise for him. With preparation material available both in Bengali and English and round-the-clock guidance, Manoj got selected for PSC Clerkship with a merit rank of 113 as an LDC in PWD (directorate) department.
After having cleared Prelims on his own, Manoj’s journey with Adda247 started with the Mains exam. With Adda247, Manoj strengthened his weak areas and focused on strategy discussions, writing structure, and time management. In addition, he also focused on attending live and recorded classes and giving test series and online mock exams offered by Adda247. A faculty member from the Adda247 team (Shubhadip Biswas) assisted and supported Manoj throughout his preparation process by solving his doubts whenever needed. This strategic way of preparation proved to be invaluable on exam day.
Manoj expressed his gratitude to the whole team of Adda247 as they not only helped him prepare for the exam but also kept his motivation going. He firmly believes that failure is an essential part of success and that only patience, perseverance, and hard work can get one through the journey. Manoj now has a motto towards life that he would like to share with other aspirants: Work hard, be patient, and be a cut above the rest.
