The completion of 100 successful episodes of Aakash Aath’s immensely popular mega serial, ‘Sreyoshi’ was celebrated recently.

A huge cake was cut on the occasion by the cast and crew members consisting of Arkoja Acharyya, Sayan Karmakar, Soumi Ghosh, Debesh RoyChowdhury, Shakti Dey, Shreyanshi Mukherjee, Ranit Modak, Barnini Chakraborty and the Director, Anindya Banerjee.

The popular on-screen show’s plot was taken from the renowned Bengali literary work “Sreyoshi” by Shri Subodh Ghosh, an award-winning author, and journalist.

The journey of a typical girl who has lately been married is the subject of the serial Sreyoshi. It focuses on the chastity of women and the numerous sacrifices that a woman must make to protect her loved ones from the world’s nefarious schemes. It illustrates her persistent resolve, the warmth and generosity she has in her heart, and her sheer strength to overcome the restrictions placed on her and ultimately succeed.

“To adapt and deliver such a well-known literary work by Shri Subodh Ghosh to our viewers was rather difficult for us. In addition to the main cast, the other artists involved in this massive serial have unquestionably made noteworthy contributions. A celebration was due after the successful completion of 100 episodes. Nandalal Majumdar has written the dialogues for Sreyoshi while Rakesh Ghosh has written the script.

Sreyoshi is aired every Monday – Saturday at 9:30 pm in Aakash Aath.
