In the presence of Amit Roy, poet Rubendra Kaushik Bagdash’s first book of poems titled Blue Bird From Heaven-Healer of the Souls was unveiled.

The poetry that Rubendra has written in the book is all about art. Most of us think that art is artificial and materialistic. But according to the poet, art must have a purpose. The purpose is to heal. When you read poetry you heal. When one reads poetry it engages you and takes you into the world of poetry.

Rubendra mentioned that he believes in spirituality and not religion. According to the poet, spirituality is like an ocean. And he wanted to burst everything with the help of his poems. Instead of focusing on the lyrical aspects of poetry, the poet has stressed more on the essence of the poems. His poems do not conform to any genre.

The author had previously written short stories in anthologies.

In the future, he wants to write novels.
