The Rajasthan Foundation organized a roadshow in Kolkata for promoting Rajasthan International Expo 2023 which will be held on March 20-22 in Jodhpur.

The roadshow was addressed by Mr. Rajiv Arora, Chairman, of Rajasthan Export Promotion Council & RAJSICO along with Mr. Dheeraj Shrivasatava, Commissioner, of Rajasthan Foundation, and Mr. Mahendra Parakh, IAS, Commissioner, of Industries & Commerce, Government of Rajasthan and Dr. Manisha Arora.

The roadshow was designed to boost the attendance of foreign buyers and the diaspora of Rajasthanis at the expo. The purpose of the roadshow is to give Rajasthanis who live in India and abroad the chance to network.

“The expo is being put together in accordance with the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Ashok Gehlot,” said Mr. Rajeev Arora, Chairman, of REPC and RAJSICO. “The state’s export industry will look back on this expo as a turning point in India’s center for handicrafts is Jodhpur. From Jodhpur, handicrafts made of wood, iron, and other materials are shipped all over the world. In addition, the Indian government has approved a special aid package of Rs. 95 crores for the capacity development of the Inland Container Depot, which is currently operating in Jodhpur” added Mr. Arora.

Under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Gehlot, the tourism and industrial sectors in the state are receiving a boost.

Important information about the Expo was presented by Mr. Mahendra Parakh, IAS, Commissioner for Industries, who also invited Rajasthanis living overseas to offer their best collaboration. He claimed that pottery, wood, iron furniture, and other handcraft products would all be prominently displayed at this international expo. Additionally, he advised including the Rajasthan Export Promotion Council members. He claimed that enterprises and industrial organizations that are REPC members will receive a variety of facilities at events like the Expo.

It is expected that 1000 buyers, 10000 visitors, and 300-400 suppliers are expected at this multi-product expo.
