The poster launch of director R. D. Nath’s film Beautiful Life took place recently in the presence of Rituparna Sengupta, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Sreela Majumdar, Sayantani Sengupta, and others.

The story of Beautiful Life is about a cerebral atrophy patient named Jhumki. Her parents take her to a forest on her birthday and she starts to paint. The story revolves around Jhumki and how three people – an artist, a scientist, and a sculptor get involved with this patient.

The music has been composed by Shantanu Basu.

The cast of the film consists of Rituparna Sengupta, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Sreela Majumder, Paran Bandopadhyay, Sayantani Sengupta, and others.

Speaking at the event, Rituparna Sengupta said “The majority of people desire a wonderful life. Yet that hardly ever occurs. Our life eventually turns into something ugly as time goes on. The premise of this film is exactly that”.

Beautiful Life was also screened at the 26^th Kolkata International Film Festival.

The film is slated for release in May 2023.
