Pen Mahotsav 2 is the biggest pen festival in Kolkata. This was organized after the success of the first edition of the event.

It was organized by Kisalay Events and Pen Club.

The event is happening at ICCR, Ho Chi Min Sarani, Kolkata.

Gracing the inauguration ceremony were Subhra Kamal Mukherjee (Chief Justice), Sabyasachi Misra (I.G) (IPS) West Bengal, Anupam Halder, WBCS, Joint Commissioner of Revenue, Government of West Bengal, Panchali Munshi, WBCS, Joint Commissioner of Revenue, Government of West Bengal, Rajib Gon (DSP), Yashodhara Roy Choudhury (AG Bengal), Dr. Swati Guha (Director Institute Of language & Studies & Research), Abhijit Bhattacharjee (Professor, Bardhaman University), Debshankar Haldar and Gautam De (Ex-director ICCR, Calcutta).

This event aims to revive the tradition of using fountain pens among the people.

Different kinds of pens from companies located in different parts of India were part of this pen festival.

A pen from a Germany-based company costs Rs 7 lakh 77 thousand and 777.

The event will continue till 16th April at ICCR from 1 pm to 8 pm.
