2nd Annual All Bengal Rabindra Sangeet Competition “Ganer Bhitor Diye” Organized
The second annual All Bengal Rabindra Sangeet Competition Ganer Bhitor Diye organized by Naba Robi Kiron and Nava Nalanda Sangeet Shikshayatan was held at Ahindra Mancha.
The final round was held with a total of 40 contestants from three categories – Unmesh (10 to 14 years), Vikas (15 to 18 years), and Aishwarya (19 years and above).
The judges in this final stage of the competition were Jayati Chakraborty, Manoj Murali Nair, Apala Basu, Alak Roy Choudhury, Prabuddha Raha, Shamik Pal, and Aditi Gupta.
The first stage was held online, the second stage was held offline in Kolkata and Santiniketan, and the semi-finals were held in Kolkata.
Among the finalists of these three categories, Sriparnika Mishra bagged first place in the Unmesh category, Abhirup Maiti second place, and Aptaduti Dasgupta third place.
Sulgna Goswami was first in the Vikas category, Satyajit DevRoy was second, Swastika Pandit was third and Pritam Chakraborty was first in the Aishwarya category, Dhruvajyoti Sinha was second, Shreya Chakraborty was the third.
The winners received 12 thousand rupees as first prize, 8 thousand rupees as second prize, and 5 thousand rupees as third prize. The winners will also get a chance to perform music at the Rabindrasmaran function at Nava Nalanda. The winners of the competition will get a contract to make a music video on Naba Robi Kiron’s YouTube channel and a cash prize.
Bharti Mitra Smriti Award named Surer Sathi is also given every year. This year Tanwangi Mukherjee (Umesh), Ritwika Chatterjee (Vikash), and Jyotirmoy Sen (Aishwarya) received this award.
