Shahid Kapoor will play the lead role in a high-octane action thriller produced by Zed Studios and Roy Kapur Films. The acclaimed Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews, who is best known for Malayalam blockbusters like Salute and Kayamkulam Kochunni, will helm the movie.

The story centers on a talented but disobedient police officer who is looking into a high-profile case. He discovers a labyrinth of deceit and betrayal as he investigates the case further, setting him on an exciting and perilous journey.

Shahid Kapoor said, “I am particularly looking forward to this since it’s uncommon to find a subject that has action, thrill, drama, and suspense all wrapped into one narrative. It’s an honor to be working with Zee Studios and Siddharth Roy Kapur, who I previously collaborated with on Haider and Kaminey. We’ve also lived close to each other for a while, funny! A seasoned director with a stellar Malayalam filmography, Rosshan Andrrews. It will be a delight to work with such a brilliant cinematic mind after spending so much time together. I can’t wait to share this amazing, entertaining, and exhilarating story with everyone.

The movie is slated to begin production in the second half of 2023, with a 2024 release date.
