The latest workshop of Bengaluru-based Full-Stack Mobility solution company Automovill has opened in Kolkata. The workshop will offer a variety of value-added services to meet the expanding needs of clients in the area after it opened its doors for business.

Automovill is aware of how crucial it is to create centralized hubs in each location as the landscape of online players in the aftersales ecosystem changes. The Kolkata workshop, with its approximately 10,000 square feet, 8 bays, and cutting-edge machinery, serves as a model for the business’s upcoming expansion plans, which include 10 other workshops across India. The workshop provides charging infrastructure to ensure that vehicles are charged while repairs are being made or while waiting for insurance approval. It places a strong emphasis on electric vehicle (EV) fleet maintenance as well as the facilitation and renewal of insurance claims. Additionally, it offers a centralized claim-handling facility to accommodate the needs of municipal enterprises.

The workshop’s inauguration was graced by Mr. Mahendra Bindal, the Managing Director of SNAP-E Cabs, who expressed his appreciation for the workshop’s launch.

Launching the workshop supports Automovill’s objectives of brand development, city-based profitability, luring new business, and meeting the rising demand for EV fleets.

The workshop is located in the heart of Kolkata’s bustling urban region, yet its influence extends far beyond the neighborhood and a 5-kilometer radius around it. Car owners in places like New Town, Rajar Hat, and Salt Lake, who previously lacked access to such a large facility for automotive services, now have a much-needed answer thanks to Automovill’s workshop.

The startup hopes to serve over 100 B2C retail clients in the first month alone, manage over 150 commercial EVs, and service 25 insurance vehicles. Automovill made a large expenditure of over 20 lakhs in constructing the workshop in Kolkata out of a strong desire to provide a thorough and high-quality experience. This expansion goes beyond only the workshop space and includes washing and detailing services as well, improving the total client experience.
