Surinder Films Pvt. Ltd launched the trailer of upcoming Bengali film ‘Googly’ in the august presence of Soham, Srabanti, Master Soumyodipta Saha, director Abhimanyu Mukherjee and music composer, Savvy.

The trailer featuring Soham, Srabanti and Master Soumyodipta Saha showed how two people with stammering problems tie a knot and get confused later about having a child as they become unsure about the destiny of their child.

Speaking at the event, Srabanti said “I was initially sceptical as to how I will do this role of a stammering woman. But the director trusted me enough and that gave me impetus to carry on with this role. Working with Soham has always been a great experience. He used to think of some way to perform and I used to think of some other way to perform. And Soumyodipta is a darling. Whenever someone disturbed him on the sets, he used to come and complain about that person to me”.

The director mentioned that people with stammering problems are often ridiculed by others. With the help of this film, he wants to spread the message that people with stammering problems must not be alienated and deserves to be treated with love and respect.

Soham said that his experience of working in the film was a good one. The character was different and challenging. Hence he decided to work in this project.

Googly is produced by Surinder Films Pvt. Ltd. is slated to release on 29^th March, 2019.
