Thrillers are always loved by the audiences in Bengal. And understanding this liking of the audience, Windows Productions will be presenting a new thriller Raktabeej for the Bengali thriller-loving audiences.

Directed by eminent director-duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee, Raktabeej is an edgy thriller. The teaser of the film will be released today.

The film stars Victor Banerjee, Mimi Chakraborty, Abir Chatterjee Anasua Majumdar, Kanchan Mullick, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Satyam Bhattacharya, Debasish Mondal, Devlina Kumar and others in important roles.

The Burdwan blast in 2014, which rocked Bengal and the entire nation, served as inspiration for the movie. The film will narrate the story of a guy returning home who has a key position and how an accident in a firecracker unit reveals a greater threat to his life.

The backdrop of the film is Durga Puja.

This is the first time that the director duo has directed a thriller.
