On September 28, 2023, Muthiah Muralidaran will fly into Kolkata to promote his upcoming biographical film 800. The Prince of Kolkata, Sourav Ganguly, is prepared to accompany him to the media conference. In order to promote his film, actor Madhurr Mittal will visit Saltlake Shiksha Niketan School alongside great Sri Lankan cricketer Muthiah Muralidaran.

The film, an underdog tale, follows his development from a little boy to the greatest spinner in test cricket history, with an impressive record of 800 wickets.

The movie will focus on his illustrious career while also revealing more of his personal story.

The great Sri Lankan spinner will be played by Madhur Mittal, who won an Oscar for his performance in Slumdog Millionaire. Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu versions of the movie will all be released on October 6.
