Aranyadeb, Kaali and Sharate Aaj led to much success for ZEE5 in the field of Bengali digital content. They have now come up with The Lovely Mrs Mookherjee for their audience.

A press conference was organized to announce this new black comedy drama film. The meet was graced by Swastika Mukherjee, director Indranil Roy Chowdhury, Bratya Basu and others.

The film showcases the journey of a woman and the fulfilment of her wishes. The story is told in a funny way and since Bengalis have a great sense of humour, the director feels that the film will be liked by the audience.

Swastika Mukherjee who looked beautiful in the sari that she wore at the event mentioned that her character is very interesting and this is unlike anything that she has done before. “I have acted with Bratya Basu in a film where we quarrelled a lot. But thankfully in this film, we do not have such scenes” said the actress.

Bratya Basu joked and mentioned that Swastika was The Lovely Mrs Mookherjee while he was The Ugly Mr Mookherjee.

The film will be released on 15th March.
