Dohar along with P.C. Chandra Group has been organizing workshops on folk music for quite some time now. After the success of last two times, they have again come up with a third workshop that will be conducted soon on 16^th March and 17^th March at P. C. Chandra Garden.

The theme for the workshop this year is Lalon Sai Paramparar Gaan. Smt Chandana Majumdar, a renowned Bangladeshi artist will be conducting the workshop.

A huge number of participants submitted their applications to take part in the workshop. However they were asked to submit their song sample and then they were judged. After this around 100 people have been selected for the workshop.

With the help of this initiative, people will be able to know more about their roots and also spread it among the future generations.
