The starry trailer launch of Bagha Jatin took place at Alipore Jail Museum. Alipore Jail was the place where freedom fighters like Bagha Jatin, Jawaharlal Nehru, and many more were imprisoned by the British. Hence launching the trailer at this place was the right way of paying tribute to these amazing revolutionaries.

It was graced by Dev, director Arun Roy, Sreeja Dutta, Iman Chakraborty, music composer Nilayan Chatterjee, Sudipta Chakraborty, and others.

The trailer shows the valor and courage of Bagha Jatin and how he went against the atrocities of the British. It also shows his profound love for his motherland.

“The responses that we have received so far for the teaser and the songs have been extremely positive. We want all Indians to know about this amazing man who did so much for his country. The film will be released in both Hindi and Bengali so that even non-Bengali audiences can know about this man” said Dev.

Iman Chakraborty who has sung the title track said “The freedom fighters gave their life for the freedom struggle of the country. Who can even do that in today’s time? When I was asked to sing the title track, I immediately agreed. To be a part of such an amazing film is what made me agree to sing the song. It has been an amazing experience”.

Nilayan Chatterjee composed the music and background score of the film.

The film is slated for release on 19^th October and is among the big Puja releases this year.
