The trailer and music launch of Picasso took place in the presence of director Raja Chanda, actors Srijla Guha, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Saurav Das, Roja Paromita Dey, and other eminent guests.

The story revolves around a journalist Sreya. She gets a piece of weird news from Vikram Sen who is a photographer in the forensic department. Palash Mukherjee who is also known as Picasso is an award-winning painter. After painting two portraits, mysteriously the individuals whose portraits are been painted die. Sreya goes to Picasso’s house to delve deep into this issue. What happens next?

“I admire Raja because he believes in his storytelling. That is very important. Ultimately the director is the captain of the ship and the actors just follow the orders of the director. Hence if he is convinced, it becomes easy for us to convince ourselves. Hence this project turned out to be a great one for me” said Tota Roy Chowdhury.

Srijla Guha said “I will not say that this thriller is out of the box or something. As we all know thrillers follow a fixed format. This thriller will keep you engaged. That much I can guarantee. Raja Da and I had talked about working together quite a few times and now this has been fulfilled with the help of this series”.

Saurav Das said that he knew the director when he worked in theatre. It is then that the director has said that they will work together. This is Saurav’s third work with the director. “It is always a pleasure to work with Raja da. He is like the anchor for the actors. Actors often get confused. But he acts like the anchor and helps them out of their confusions easily” said the actor.

The script is by Arnab Bhowmik.

The music has been composed by Abhishek and Rajputra. The lyrics of the songs are by Raja Chanda.
