5th INKREHABCON 2024- Focus On Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
The inaugural ceremony of the 5th INKREHABCON 2024, Conference on Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation (CPR) took place recently in the presence of Abu Taher Khan, Member of the Lok Sabha, Ashok Kumar Mukhopadhyay, Eminent Writer, Pradipta Narayan Tapadar, PTI – Chief Reporter, Mrs. Moumita Roy Choudhury, Regional Head at NAT Health, Dhiman Das, Director – K.C Das PVT LTD, Dr. Suparna Ganguly, Director, Department of Neurorehabilitation and many other eminent guests.
The Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program was developed to reduce physiological and psychological stress related to cardiopulmonary diseases (CPD). It will help in reducing the mortality risk secondary to CPD and help in bettering the lives of patients.
Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is an exercise program that consists of nutritional counseling, education, managing stress, and other lifestyle changes. All these changes lead to bettering the health of the individuals and preventing cardiopulmonary diseases.
I-NK Neuro rehab team focuses on Patient-centered realistic goal-oriented rehabilitation.
The team at I-NK consists of qualified occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehab nurses, rehab health assistants, psychologists, swallowing speech-language pathologists, and others. This team helps patients prevent these cardiopulmonary diseases with the help of traditional and scientific methods.
The two-day hands-on workshop and seminar is the annual conference of I-NK. Some of the speakers at the conference include Dr. Ayan Kar, Dr, Mona Tiwari, Dr. Lakshmi Nair, and others.
