Pariah Vol-1 Team’s Bike Rally For Stray Dogs In Kolkata; First Initiative Of Its Kind
A bike rally was organized by the team of the upcoming Bengali film Pariah Vol-1. This is the first of its kind initiative undertaken for stray dogs by a Bengali film. It is also the first time that a rally has been organized for stray dogs in the city.
Actor Vikram Chatterjee took part in the bike rally with a stray dog.
Apart from Vikram, Sreelekha Mitra, Angana Roy also graced the event along with 20 bike riders.
The film will show Vikram Chatterjee in a never-before-seen action avatar.
Pariah means outcast. The stray Indian dogs are known as Pariah. Vikram’s character takes up the onus of protecting the stray dogs as no one fights for them.
The cast of the film consists of Vikram Chatterjee, Soumya Mukherjee, Angana Roy, Sreelekha Mitra, Loknath Dey, Debashish Roy, and others.
Speaking at the event, Angana Roy said “The film is an important film that deserved to be made. The film is about Pariahs, for those who love Pariahs, and also is a form of protest for the cruelty happening against them. Pariah is a film that deals with a topical issue”.
Sreelekha Mitra said that the bike rally was an interesting way of promoting the film. She said that the film is about a cause and deserves all the love and support from the audience.
Pariah Vol-1 will be released on 9th February.
