Bhumi’s accomplishment is further enhanced by her mother’s unique present, a gold coin! Additionally, this has a charming past.

“My mother is my biggest supporter and my toughest critic. I therefore eagerly await her evaluation of each job I do. She has consistently provided me with the most helpful criticism and is brutally honest. She does something quite endearing and moving when she is pleased with my performance” said Bhumi.

“My mother and I came home after Dum Laga Ke Haisha was released, and she gave me a gold coin. She was letting me know that she didn’t have any notes and that she thought I did a great job. I recall crying as I hugged her. Ever since that day, I have eagerly anticipated the moment when she will reward my labor with a gold coin. For me, it’s the biggest reward” added the actress.

She continued “My mom gave me this and it has meant the world to me when I have done projects like Saand Ki Aankh, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Sonchiriya, Lust Stories, Bala, Shubh Mangal Saavdhaan, Badhaai Do, and some others. She treated Bhakshak in the same way”.

Speaking about her mother’s emotional response to Bhakshak, Bhumi said, “My mom broke down in tears after the movie, and I couldn’t help but cry too. I was reminded of my Dum Laga Ke Haisha experience by it. My mother has never seemed so stressed to me. We had no conversation at all on the way back to our house. I believe she was moved by what she saw”.

“She pulled out a gold coin and told me she was waiting to present the gold coin to me again. Actors like myself, who put in a great deal of effort and passion to produce quality performances, find great validation in such gestures, which encourage us to take on unique, varied, and daring roles” added the beautiful actress.
