Study materials in Bengali have been made available for West Bengal NEET (UG) candidates by Aakash, the nation’s top provider of exam preparation for medical and engineering entrance exams.

43,890 of the 1,04,923 West Bengali students who registered for NEET (UG) 2023 last year chose Bengali to write in the exam. The NEET (UG) 2019–2023 statistics show that students are becoming more interested in writing in Bengali. This is the first national-level institute effort of its sort that can directly benefit such students.

The study materials in Bengali were launched at the Aakash South Kolkata Centre by the Head of the Departments and other top faculty members from the Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology departments involved in the initiative.

National Academic Director- NEET Division Mr. Nabin Kaarki said “Because many students choose to write the NEET (UG) in Bengali, there was always a demand from students for suitable study materials from a national brand. Aakash has given careful thought to this endeavor. We were able to do it after an expert team worked extremely hard for more than a year. I do not doubt that this material will meet the needs of the students and make a significant contribution to their preparation”.
