The official trailer of the upcoming Bengali film “Hatey Khori” has been released.

The protagonist of the tale is Chand. His only goal in life is to finish school, but Chand and his classmates are forced to work as children. While one person works at a hotel, another works in the garage, and Chand himself is employed at a roadside tea shop. Chand enjoys studying a lot. He likes to study any book that he can get his hands on, but newspapers and periodicals are his favorites. He attempts to learn from newspapers of all kinds, whether they are new or old, as they are a source of information. What happens next?

Directed by Mainak Mitra & Kaustav Chakraborty, the film is presented by Copyright Entertainment & FPS (Film Pertners Studioz).

The original story of the film is by Badrinath Shaw (Based on the book ‘Akshar Akshar Deep Jale’).

The cast of the film consists of Sankhyadeep Banerjee, Biswanath Basu, Sonalee Chaudhuri, Sumit Samadder, Konkona Halder, Debraj Bhattacharya, Prantik Banerjee, Raju Majumder, Momo, Mithun Debnath, Sreeja Bose, Rudraraj Chakraborty, Priyadarshika Chakraborty, Sayak Das, and Rakesh Bhattacharjee.

The music has been composed by Subhankar Debnath, Shubhradeep Bakshi, Supratip Bhattacharya, and Amit Chatterjee.

According to the director duo, Hatey Khori serves as a mirror reflecting a distinct yet recognizable aspect of society. Hatey Khori is a continuation of our history. People associate emotions with cinema, and in this film, they have stitched together the dreams of everyday people—people just like you and me. Through Chand’s recurrent dreams of enrolling in school alongside his peers, we highlight the ongoing challenges of the average person to live a life worthy of respect.

The film is slated for release on the 29^th of March.
