BM Birla Heart Hospital, India’s first NABH-accredited hospital and a leader in cardiac care, is celebrating National Technology Day by embracing technology with its digital first Enhanced Cardiac Care Programme.

The hospital moves beyond reactive measures, focusing on continuous monitoring to identify and address clinical deterioration early. This initiative integrates Dozee‘s AI-based Contactless Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Early Warning System (EWS) into all ward beds, marking a significant step toward preventive and proactive care. This calculated decision demonstrates the hospital’s dedication to using data-driven technology to improve patient outcomes and safety as it moves towards a more proactive and preventive-focused healthcare environment.

The “Enhanced Cardiac Care” Programme at BM Birla Heart Hospital is evidence of the hospital’s dedication to offering the best cardiac treatment possible by skillfully fusing Dozee with medical knowledge. Healthcare professionals can remotely check vital signs like blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, SPO2 levels, temperature, and ECG on patients using Dozee. The Early Warning System (EWS) from Dozee monitors vital parameter trends and notifies medical professionals when a patient’s condition worsens, allowing for prompt medical action.

Ballistocardiography (BCG), powered by AI, is used by Dozee to monitor vital signs wirelessly. Dozee uses a unique technology that is produced in India. The cutting-edge technology from Dozee has a big impact on clinical results, operational effectiveness, and patient safety. According to research by independent consulting firm Sattva, for every 100 Dozee-connected beds, it can save approximately 144 lives, cut down on nurse vitals time by 80%, and shorten ICU average length of stay by about 1.3 days.

Using the ‘Enhanced Cardiac Care’ Programme, BM Birla Heart Hospital hopes to improve cardiac care standards and emphasizes its dedication to using technology and creative ideas to improve patient outcomes.
