The teaser poster of the upcoming Bengali film Mahrat is out now.

The film deals with the intricacies of the film industry.

The story begins at a shooting spot for a film located about fifty kilometers away from Kolkata. It was the first day of the shoot. During the shoot, renowned actress Aparna Mukherjee was murdered. She was shot. Her husband Srijan Bandopadhyay is an eminent director. After their divorce, Srijon and Aparna met again on the set of the film. Two investigating CID officers are assigned to this case. During the investigation, the film’s hero Sohail Khan’s name comes to the forefront. He has come from Bangladesh to shoot the film. What will happen next?

Directed by Atiul Islam, the shoot of the film is already complete.

Mir Alam, Rittika Sen, Deboleena Dutta, Biswarup Biswas, Rajatava Dutta, Debraj Bhattacharya, Hrishi Raj, Anindita Shome, Raju Majumder, Hia Roy, and others will be seen in important roles in the film.

The script has been written by Anubhab Ghosh.

The film will release in 2024.
