This year’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations featured an impressive 13-foot replica of Adiyogi on display at the Executive Palace Complex on VIP Road, Baguiati. The enormous statue, which emphasized both the respect for Lord Ganesh and the philosophical principles of Adiyogi, acted as the center of attention for the celebrations.

The Adiyogi replica acts as a symbolic link between tradition and spirituality, demonstrating the initiative’s intentional blending of the two. Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha’s father-son relationship is a prime example of a deep spiritual and emotional link that is full of symbolism and profound philosophical lessons. Lord Shiva, also known as Adiyogi, represents the highest consciousness and enlightenment, and his son Ganesha stands for fresh starts, the removal of hindrances, and divine wisdom. This relationship adds a deeper sense of their spiritual value to our celebration, highlighting the fusion of cosmic wisdom with useful instruction.

Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Secretary of the Executive Palace Complex, said, “This year’s event honors the holy relationship between Lord Shiva and Lord Ganesha and is devoted to the profound teachings of Adiyogi. Our six-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebration will culminate in a lavish Hawan before the Visarjan in which all residents will take part. During the Ganesh puja, we will also give bhog to approximately 3,000 individuals who do not reside in our complex”.

This unique and magnificent festival is open to both locals and guests, and it promises to be both culturally and spiritually significant.
