Ms. Bhumi Pednekar, said, “I have the utmost gratitude for the chances that have enabled me to follow my dream of performing. I was resolved to work in this field from a young age, even though my father was worried about the difficulties. Success is influenced by luck, but my main goal has always been to share powerful tales that honor genuine heroes—especially women. My mother has been my biggest source of inspiration as she showed me resilience and the value of giving back to my community via her constant dedication as a single parent. By proving to others that it is possible to overcome uncertainty and achieve success, I hope to encourage others. I sincerely think that more movies celebrating the achievements of women in society are needed, especially those that have led to major transformations”.
The actress added “Since I started advocating for climate change with Climate Warrior in 2018, I have emphasized how important it is for all of us to work together to restore environmental balance. Gender bias needs to be addressed for generations to address violence against women. The level of normalization of violence in society is concerning, and we need to collaborate to build a secure atmosphere where respect for women is ingrained from a young age for future generations. My dedication lies in fostering empathy and responsibility in our sector. We can spark revolutionary change when we work together”.
The fourth session highlighted the Power of Resilience and Inclusion in Para Sports.
The fifth session reflected on Leadership, Resilience, and the Evolving Landscape of Indian Sports.
