Young people, who are the foundation of our society and our future, must be steered toward the light and away from the evil forces that are determined to destroy it by damaging their mental and physical well-being through addiction and destructive societal trends.

Bobby Chakraborty, a well-known actor, social activist, and method acting instructor from Kolkata, has been tirelessly combating that darkness for ten years with his free, internationally recognized “preventive” awareness program for kids called “I AM THE KING OF MY MIND”.

He rightfully inundated the sixth to eighth-grade students at Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, or his “soldiers”, with a lot of positive rays of hope and guidance on the eve of Diwali, the festival of lights. He advised them to lead healthy lives free from alcoholism, smoking, smartphone addiction, online gambling through games, abusive language, and online indecency.

Soldier Kanav Shroff of Class IX served as the official photographer for the very engaging and influential session, with help from Class VI soldier Mannan Jhunjhunwala, who was also bestowed with the crucial title of “The 1st Soldier”.

In the intriguing social experiment known as “Trendsetting”, Class VII soldier Aadhya Daga was dubbed “The Trendsetter”.

The socially conscious Director Meena Kak and the incredibly enterprising Principal Jaya Misra presented the winners of the surprise contest, soldiers Udayaan Chakravarty (VII), Darsh Agarwal (VIII), and Avantika Gupta (VII), along with active soldier Kanav, with special prizes, personalized HCF (Health-Career-Family) t-shirts, and Community Service Certificates from their beloved “Bobby Dada”.

The fact that this was Bobby’s ninth session at this school alone demonstrates how supportive the administration, the esteemed Director, and the Principal are of Bobby‘s goal, which is urgently needed.
