The “Ahimsa Seminar” which JIS Group organized in collaboration with Star 21 at the JIS School of Medical Sciences and Research, made a significant impact by bringing together well-known individuals to discuss the vital role that non-violence plays in creating a peaceful world. With the help of the South Howrah Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Terapanth Yuvak Parishad South Howrah, Terapanth Professional Forum South Howrah, Anuvrat Samiti Howrah, and South Howrah Shree Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha, the effort was planned and made possible. Through enlightening conversations, the seminar emphasized the value of Ahimsa in a world full of intricate disputes and social tensions.

The event saw the presence of distinguished personalities like renowned Jain monk, Munishree Jinesh Kumar Ji Swami, Shri. Jagmohan Singh Gill, renowned Sikh historian, Dr. Faud Halim, renowned social worker, Rev. Martin Arun Pakhre, Presbyter Incharge, CNI, Shri. Dipankar Basu from Maitri Mandir and Shri. Ashok Kumar P. Kothari, Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes.

Top management of the JIS Group comprising Sardar Taranjit Singh, Managing Director, JIS Group, Sardar Haranjit Singh, Joint Managing Director, JIS Group, and Sardar Amrik Singh, Deputy Managing Director, JIS Group also graced the event.
