The premier chain of bookstores, Starmark, held the inauguration of Jalsha, a unique collection of poems by the late Samaresh Majumdar, at their South City mall outlet. Literature lovers gathered in great numbers to honor the renowned author’s legacy and commemorate this historic publication, making it a touching tribute.

The book was unveiled by renowned authors Mr. Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay, Mr. Prochet Gupta, actor & RJ Mr. Mir Afsar Ali, and poet Mr. Srijato Bandyopadhyay.

They all offered their opinions on Samaresh Majumdar’s writing career, his significant influence on Bengali literature today, and the works’ enduring value.
