Ekendra Sen, the beloved detective, is back! The official trailer for Puro Puri Eken, a gripping murder mystery set against Puri’s unique cultural backdrop, has been released by Hoichoi.

The trailer, which highlights Puri’s breathtaking seashores, famous cultural sites, and the dramatic world of Kathakali, teases the ideal balance of humor and tension. It promises twists, turns, and Eken’s trademark wit and is full of captivating moments.

Eken Babu and his devoted companions Bapi and Pramatha must untangle a web of secrets to apprehend the murderer after a series of killings stemming from unsettling phone calls to Kathakali dancer Paramita. In addition to solving crimes, Eken’s peculiar Oriya dialect and passion for food give this crazy ride its distinct character.

The series is directed by Joydeep Mukherjee and adapted from Sujan Dasgupta’s novel.

Puro Puri Eken features Anirban Chakrabarti as Eken Babu, alongside Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Somak Ghosh, Rajnandini Paul, and Rahul Arunoday Banerjee.

Puro Puri Eken premieres on Hoichoi on 23rd January.
