The trailer launch of Mukhoshe Manushe Khela took place in the presence of Priyanka Sarkar, Joydip Chakraborty, ACP Alok Sanyal, Abhijit Barman aka Pata, and director Orpheus Mukhoty.

The director said that the film is of the corporate genre thriller and this genre has not been explored much in Bengali films. Despite the growing importance of corporate culture in our lives, this is a genre that has not yet been explored in Bengali films.

The plot of Mukhoshe Manusher Khela centers on businessman Joy Sanyal (played by Joydip Chakraborty), who gets caught up in a web of murderous plots hatched by his competitors. Joy is forced to face the sinister secrets of his seemingly ideal life when unexplained deaths take place. While Subrata Dutta portrays investigator Manik Sen, Priyanka Sarkar portrays Nandini, a shadowy business colleague. ACP Aloke Sanyal, a real-life police officer, will also play himself in the movie.

Hailing from Abu Dhabi,  Joydip Chakraborty, an actor and writer of Mukhoshe Manushe Khela with a wealth of theatrical and short film experience, said he was thrilled about his feature film debut. For him, the process of bringing Mukhoshe Manushe Khela to life has been thrilling. “I usually get an idea and I complete the writing even if that takes a day or night. I cannot plan my writing schedule. I have worked in the corporate sector for many years and that has helped in writing the story of the film” said Joydip Chakraborty.

The cast of the film consists of Joydip Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, and Subrata Dutta in pivotal roles.

Priyanka Sarkar said “I am equally nervous about the film now that it is finally releasing. I play Nandini, an ambitious girl. We all pretend to be someone that we are not. This may happen at home, work, or even with friends too. She is ambitious and can do anything for her career. The rat race has been explored through this character. The director is very sound and it has been an interesting experience for me”.

The film’s cinematography is by Sourav Dey, and the music has been composed by Kaushik Ghosh. Abhijit Barman, aka ‘Pota’(of Cactus fame), has lent his voice to the title track of the film.

The film is eyeing for release on 28^th February.
