A Special Women’s Day Event At St. Catherine’s Home

A Women’s Day special event was organized at St. Catherine’s Home. The event saw the presence of director Indira Dhar, actress Rituparna Sengupta, and dancer Alokananda Roy.
A spirited dance performance was the opening segment of this special event.

This was followed by the felicitation of the eminent dignitaries.
The dignitaries shed light on cultivating inner strength so that obstacles can be overcome and focused on celebrating the essence of being a woman.

When questioned about how Rituparna Sengupta maintained her humility despite attaining such stardom, she said “This is what I have been taught by my parents. They have always instilled in me that I must always stay humble and kind. And I have been following their advice to date. That has helped me a lot and I impart the same knowledge to my kids as well”.
Alokananda Roy stressed the fact that women can do anything if they put their minds to it. One must have the confidence to pursue their goals in life. They must never give up.

The event was attended by the students of St. Paul’s Boarding & Day School and the inmates of St. Catherine’s Home.

It was a delightful experience for all the attendees.
