Zee Bangla is gearing up for Sonar Sansar 2025, which will commemorate 25 years of bringing world-class entertainment to millions of homes. This grand awards show, featuring a slew of outstanding performances, memorable moments, and emotional tributes, promises to be a celebration of Zee Bangla‘s legacy and its strong bond with its devoted audience.

Shubhasree Ganguly, the reigning queen of Bengali cinema, will host the show, which will also feature the versatile actor Abir Chatterjee, whose captivating screen presence and wit will add charisma and energy to the stage. The event will feature electrifying performances by Zee Bangla’s top actresses and popular male leads, whose on-screen chemistry has wowed audiences.

Shilpa Rao, the renowned playback singer, will make a special musical guest appearance and serenade the audience with soulful renditions of hit songs that have made her a household name in the music industry. The night will also include iconic moments as Sonar Sansar 2025 pays tribute to industry legends such as Prosenjit Chatterjee, Rituparna Sengupta, and Saswata Chattopadhyay, commemorating their enormous contributions to Bengali cinema and television.

The awards segment will highlight a range of categories, including the Priyo Nayok, Priyo Nayika, and Priyo Dharabahik awards. In addition, the Jury’s Choice awards will recognize several categories, including Priyo Juti, Priyo Khalnayika, Priyo Khalnayak, Priyo Meye, Priyo Chhele, Priyo Ma, Priyo Baba, Priyo Sasuri, Priyo Sasur, Priyo Bouma, Priyo Jamai, Priyo Jaa/Nanad, Priyo Deor/Bhasur, and Priyo Sangsar, among others. Special recognitions will also be presented for characters like Priyo Sadasshyo – Fiction, Priyo Sadasshyo – Non-Fiction, Notun Sadassyo, Priyo Chhotto Sadasya, and Zee Bangla Jury’s Special choice award / Tok-Jhal-Mishti Couple.
