In addition to being a social necessity, investing in women’s health can significantly boost India’s economy.
“Motherhood is a beautiful journey, but comes with lots of challenges – sleepless nights, bodily changes, and responsibilities doubling up. But keep in mind that your nurturing truly changes the world, and your compassion is a superpower. Treat yourself with kindness both when things are calm and when they are chaotic. The task of raising children is enormous, significant, and invaluable,” said Tanusree Shankar.

The panel also covered the importance of multidisciplinary teamwork in managing high-risk pregnancies and critically ill newborns, the necessity of evidence-based, patient-centric care to improve outcomes, and the critical role of early intervention in identifying women’s health issues, particularly those related to reproductive health.
