The Astor Kolkata Pays An Excellent Tribute To Mangoes

The Astor Kolkata’s signature restaurant, Kebab-e-que, celebrates the flavors of summer with a decadent Mango Festival. The festival, which will be available till June 30th, offers a specially designed à la carte menu for lunch (12:30 PM to 3:30 PM) and dinner (7:00 PM to 11:45 PM). Each dish on this menu pays homage to the most popular fruit of the season, the mango, by showcasing its richness and versatility.
The Mango Festival promises a voyage through textures, temperatures, and techniques, featuring everything from cool drinks to filling main courses and decadent desserts.

On offer are Fresh Mango Boba Tea, Mango and Chia Seeds Lassi, Tropical Soul Bowl, Pulled Jackfruit Poppers, Thai Mango Fish, Harissa Chicken Skewers, Sichuan Tofu with sliced raw mango and three peppers, Alphonso Zucchini Lasagne with mango salsa, Aam Corn Gost served with steamed rice or green chili naan, Kancha Aam-er Grilled Chicken, Aam Shol, The Mango Kulfi in Astor Way, Tart made with Murshidabad mangoes and the Mango Cheesecake.
“This festival is our way of putting that sunshine on a plate because mangoes evoke memories, emotion, and indulgence. To create a menu that surprises and delights at every turn, we’ve adopted a novel and playful approach,” said Amit Kobat, General Manager of The Astor, Kolkata.
The Mango Festival at Kebab-e-que is a once-in-a-lifetime event that is not to be missed because of its strong flavors, nostalgic appeal, and modern execution.
