Known as the Greek God of Indian cinema, one of India’s biggest stars, Hrithik Roshan, has captured everyone’s attention with his captivating on-screen persona in the War 2 teaser, where he once again looked amazing. In the YRF Spy Universe’s popular War franchise, which has only produced record-breaking hits, Hrithik portrays the super spy Kabir.

As soon as Yash Raj Films released the teaser for War 2, his dapper appearance and carefree style sent the internet into a frenzy. The way Hrithik’s character is styled in War 2 will further enhance his captivating presence in the movie, according to costume designer Anaita Shroff Adajania.

“I’ve been extremely fortunate to work with Hrithik over the years—on Dhoom 2, Bang Bang, innumerable appearances and advertisements—and then came War. Every project offered something different, but we deliberately chose to change course with War. We gave him a sleeker, cleaner look instead of sticking with the grunge style. It was still on the verge of being godlike, but not quite. Indeed, somewhat akin to a superhero dressed! He had a casual yet determined appearance,” said Anaita.

“It felt necessary to explore a deeper, darker mood in Kabir for War 2. This is a multi-layered portrayal of him, both visually and emotionally—lighter materials, items that seem a bit more worn-in, even a little disheveled. And there’s still more! Naturally, though, Kabir remains Kabir; his piercing edge never fails.  We just pushed it further by building on what worked in War 1. That transformative haircut and Hrithik’s magnetic presence. The appearance, demeanor, and restraint, in my opinion, are what made this Kabir for War 2,” added the costume designer.

War 2 is set to release on August 14th worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
