Satrangi Mela, SOCIAL‘s all-day queer festival, is coming to Kolkata this Pride Month, bringing a day of community, celebration, and expression to Park Street SOCIAL. The café-bar will be transformed into a lively celebration of queer identity, inclusivity, and creativity on Sunday, July 27.

Intimate mixers, expressive flea pop-ups, indie creator showcases, and high-energy drag and music performances are all part of this hyperlocal edition, which was curated by the community for the community. The outpost turns into a secure and creative place where people can express themselves, share joy, and share their stories.

M•A•C Cosmetics, a company that has long supported LGBTQIA+ voices, will add to the celebration’s energy by bringing its signature artistry to a two-hour makeup masterclass that will start at 4 PM.

From the music to the bazaar, Satrangi Mela at SOCIAL is a place where celebration and resistance collide, and pride is emphasized, not just for a month, but as a way of thinking.
