The trailer of Goodbye Mountain is out now. Gracing the occasion were the cast and crew of the film.

Two individuals are housed under the same roof of a peaceful mountain bungalow in the film Goodbye Mountain, which the nationally acclaimed Indrasis Acharya directed. They are brought together by circumstance, but something deeper casts a shadow over them.

They’ve grown up now. The silence weighs heavily on the air. A complex emotional landscape develops over the days, where the four characters’ relationships start to change, startle, and gradually fall apart.

The movie purposefully omits answers. Only in fragments—through side glances, silences, and unresolved emotions—are their identities, shared past, and reunion revealed. Time seems to stop, and every pause seems purposeful as the audience is drawn into the experience.

Rituparna Sengupta, Indraneil Sengupta, Anirban Bhattacharya, and others will be seen in pivotal roles in the film.

The melancholic beauty of Santanu Dey’s cinematography elevates the visually stunning film Goodbye Mountain by transforming the mountains into a place of witness and sanctuary. While Lubdhak Chatterjee’s editing holds everything together with measured grace, Ranajoy Bhattacharjee’s soft, eerie score adds emotional texture and lets the film’s stillness and silences speak for themselves.

The film adheres to Acharya’s distinctive storytelling style, which is intimate, introspective, and layered with human complexity, and is anchored by deeply internal performances by Rituparna and Indraneil Sengupta.

On July 25, Goodbye Mountain will be released. It is a tale of mystery, remembrance, and a silent acceptance of the past, where farewells are said long after the last words have been spoken.
