Manipal Hospitals Announces A New Hospital At Nagpur

The Maharashtra government and Manipal Hospitals have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the construction of a cutting-edge, 350-bed multispecialty hospital in Nagpur. The shared goal of enhancing healthcare access and infrastructure in the region is reflected in this significant cooperation under investigation.
About 3,000 new jobs are anticipated to be created by the proposed hospital, which will require an expenditure of almost Rs 700 crore. The Maharashtra government pledged to assist with all permissions, clearances, and financial incentives required to finish this project on schedule when the Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Mumbai. The hospital will open in 2029, marking a major turning point in the advancement of healthcare and offering top-notch medical care to the residents of Nagpur and the surrounding territories.
“I would like to thank the Government of Maharashtra for its support and for entrusting us with this opportunity to serve the people of the state. This calculated growth is in line with Manipal Hospitals‘ mission to provide everyone with access to high-quality healthcare. Our dedication to providing equitable and significant care throughout Maharashtra will be strengthened by the new facility in Nagpur, which will offer top-notch, multidisciplinary healthcare closer to the people that need it the most,” said Dilip Jose, Managing Director and CEO of Manipal Hospitals.
A wide range of specialty departments, including cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, oncology treatments, etc., will also be available at the new hospital in Nagpur.
