Pinkathon, India’s largest women’s run, and Zydus Lifesciences Ltd., a global innovation-led healthcare firm, announced the 10th Mumbai Pinkathon, which will take place at MMRDA Grounds, BKC, on December 21, 2025. Zydus has partnered with Pinkathon as part of their nationwide breast cancer awareness campaign. During 2025–2026, the Zydus Pinkathon will take place in six different cities. Women will lead the Zydus Pinkathon to increase awareness of women’s health and breast cancer.

The official event was unveiled by Dr. Sharvil Patel, Managing Director, Zydus Lifesciences Ltd., Meha Patel, Vice-Chairperson, Zydus Foundation, actor and renowned fitness icon Milind Soman, Founder of Pinkathon, and Ankita Konwar, Founder of Invincible Women. They conveyed their excitement for the occasion, emphasizing its goal of motivating women to put their health first. They specifically emphasized the value of routine self-breast exams and the critical role that Zydus Pinkathon plays in promoting awareness of breast cancer early detection.

Milind Soman said, “Our goal at Pinkathon has always been to empower all women to take control of their fitness and health while creating a community that values inclusivity and strength.” With Zydus joining our team, we are expanding this purpose and encouraging women from different backgrounds to get involved and prioritize their health. We are building a strong platform with Zydus that will promote women’s health in India and inspire significant action in addition to increasing awareness”.

Categories for all fitness levels will be available at the Mumbai Zydus Pinkathon, including 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km as well as ultra-distances of 50 km, 75 km, and 100 km, as well as the 100 km relay under the Invincible Women campaign. All categories are currently accepting registrations.

Although Zydus and Pinkathon will collaborate in six Indian cities during the 2025–2026 season, the trip starts with the historic 10th edition in Mumbai. Zydus Pinkathon will engage over 30,000 women nationwide over the course of the next nine months when it visits Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Chennai.

Breast cancer is still one of the most common cancers that affects women globally, and the growing number of cases in India is quite alarming. Every year, more than 2 lakh women in India receive a breast cancer diagnosis. Regretfully, a woman passes away from a last-stage diagnosis every eight minutes. It is curable if caught early. Women are encouraged to take a small but effective step toward their health by performing a quick 3-minute self-breast inspection regularly as part of Zydus’ campaign, The Easiest Exam.

October, which is internationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is when the second iteration of the Easiest Exam campaign is set to debut. The Easiest Exam’s second edition places a strong emphasis on how a woman’s life can be transformed by the phrase “Do haath, teen minute aur ek easy exam”.  The project will include on-the-ground activities, podcasts, awareness campaigns, and interactions with breast cancer fighters. The series will debunk common myths and misconceptions about breast cancer through in-depth discussions with some of India’s top physicians. Dispelling falsehoods and addressing the stigma associated with breast cancer are the goals.  The campaign will also showcase the experiences of breast cancer survivors—their tales of fortitude, resiliency, and optimism.
