Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana scored his career’s biggest opening with his debut Diwali movie – Dinesh Vijan’s Thamma, and he went to Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak temple for blessings!

With this big opening of 25.11 crore nett in India, Ayushmann has provided the highest opening for an origin narrative within the MHCU, comprising Stree, Bhediya, Munjya (Stree 2 was a franchise movie), setting up the Thamma franchise that will now develop from strength to strength.

Ayushmann has built his name in the history books of Indian cinema as the Master of Uniqueness, who has always selected the most offbeat films and subjects to deliver massive blockbusters. He visited Siddhivinayak with his producer, Amar Kaushik, and his Thamma director, Aditya Sarpotdar.

Now, Ayushmann is also likely to deliver the largest opening weekend of his career and give Maddock a widely liked figure that aids the onward path of MHCU!
