4th Edition Of The Salt Lake Affordable Art Fair

The much-anticipated second Salt Lake Affordable Art Fair will take place at the Aikatan Cultural Centre on November 7, 8, and 9 from 1.30 to 8.30 pm, showcasing the bright talent of artists from all over Bengal.
The fair was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Aneesh Sarkar, IPS, and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate, along with Ms. Ruchika Gupta, President – Sanmarg Group, Mr. Debashis Sen, Founder-Director, New Bengal Consulting Ltd (Ex-IAS, Former Chairman – HIDCO), and Ms. Mallika Chanda, Curator of the event and Founder of DAUGHTOR, Art House.
Art patrons and other distinguished guests present at the event were Guru Sanchita Bhattacharyaa (International Odissi Dancer), Ms Bhavna Hemani (Social Cultural Ambassador), Mr Ashif Shah (Educationist), and Ms Priyanka Mimani (Owner – Cake Xpress).

With more than 2000 intriguing artworks and more than 100 renowned artists, this amazing festival celebrates accessible art. Every art lover can find something at the show, from mixed media and photography to paintings and sculptures. In addition to pottery classes, visitors may take in live portraits and caricatures, providing a hands-on creative experience.
Neelabho Nandi, a unique child from Julian Day New Mission School, gave a dance performance to kick off the inauguration ceremony. Neelabho, who was born with Down syndrome, finds a lot of freedom in dancing. He danced to Nazrul Geeti Mahaprano Jaage.

As a symbolic act to support the opening, the chief guest and other dignitaries displayed their artistic abilities by leaving their palm prints on a painting.
Neelabho then cut the cake in front of Ms. Bornali Biswas, Chairman of the Bharat Dignity Awards, Amar Agarwal, Owner of Evergreen Events, and Ms. Arunima Mallik from Camarus Film Production.
With artworks starting at Rs 500, affordability is still at the center of the fair, guaranteeing inclusion and allowing a broad audience to appreciate and purchase outstanding items straight from the artists.
Participating artists include Satyabrata Karmakar, Monalisa Sarkar, Nur Ali, Indrajit Narayan, Mintu Mallick, Dip Narayan Paul, Sujit Karmakar, and Aditi Chakraborty, among others.

Attendees may anticipate a wide variety of artistic materials and styles, making this event a special chance to find up-and-coming talent and purchase original artwork at reasonable costs.
