The seventh edition of the Entrepreneur Premier League (EPL), a private sporting project for business executives, began with a spectacular auction held at a famous hotel in Kolkata. With each season that goes by, the league—which was conceived and established by Mr. Anand Gupta, the founder of Anand Financial Services—grows in size and popularity.

Ten exciting teams—six men’s teams and four women’s teams—owned by prominent business figures who actively compete in the competition will compete in this year’s EPL.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Anand Gupta said, “EPL was created for fun, entertainment, and relaxation from our hectic work life. We all relished every second of the previous six seasons, which were huge hits. We expect that this season will have the same vibe, but with even more maturity and competition. This is more than simply a competition for us; it’s an emotion. We look forward to this cricketing festival all year long”.

“In business life, we rarely get time for sports, though it was such an integral part of our childhood. EPL allows us to get back on the pitch, maintain our fitness, and decompress. Playing sports is undoubtedly one of the best ways to revitalize,” added Mr. Gupta.

EPL 7.0 will be one of the most thrilling editions to date, with 16 games in the men’s league as well as semi-finals and finals, and 7 games in the women’s league aside from the semi-final and final.

The Spring Club will host all of the matches on December 13 and 14, offering two days of intense cricket, team spirit, and companionship.
