As race week for the historic 10th edition of the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata gets underway, the race has solidified its position as the rising sun in the East by turning routine into ritual and difference into legacy. The Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata has raised 32.12 lakh for charity thus far with the help of 43 NGOs, 26+ individual fundraisers, 10 corporates, and thousands of donors. The event is still working to have a significant impact. The deadline for this edition’s fundraising is January 3, 2026.

By providing a cause-neutral platform that supports a variety of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Philanthropy Partner, led by the Impact360 Foundation, has continuously increased its charitable impact. Since 2014, the platform has helped more than 75 NGOs in the Northeast and East of India generate more than INR 4.70 crores for a variety of causes, thereby improving millions of lives. Through the generosity it has inspired, the communities it has uplifted, and the pride it has instilled, its legacy has gone beyond medals and personal bests to create a decade of impact. Kolkata’s name has been permanently inscribed on the world map of distance running because of this movement.

The panelists, who are among the leading fundraisers and motivating change agents, discussed their experiences and adventures at the press conference. Speaking about their goals and the effects of fundraising, NGOs, business executives, people, and young leaders demonstrated how group effort can result in significant social change.

The NGOs that are making a difference are Tata Medical Centre, Dakshini Prayash, Concern India Foundation, Blue Star Foundation, Human Development Centre,  Impact360 Foundation, Kolkata Sanved, Paripurnata, LittleBigHelp, Rescue & Relief Foundation, ABK Memorable Trust, and New Light.
