PEDICON 2026 To Focus On Child Rights & Survival
The West Bengal Academy of Paediatrics will be hosting PEDICON 2026, the 63rd Annual Conference of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP).
This annual conference will be organized from 16th January to 20th January 2026 at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre.
Gracing the occasion were Dr. Mihir Sarkar, Dr. Neelam Mohan, National President of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Swapan Kumar Roy, Dr. Atanu Bhadra, and other eminent dignitaries.
The theme of the conference is Child Rights and Survival- Steps to a New World. It will focus on a shift from conventional paediatric care toward a holistic movement.
The conference will throw light on different aspects of health, including equity, advocacy, and innovation.
With conferences like PEDICON 2026, it will reinforce the responsibility of paediatricians and keep them updated so that every kid gets the best care possible.
The doctors will discuss the new emerging diseases, technological advancements, and the policies that will impact the health of the kids.
More than 1500 national faculty members and 50 international experts are expected to take part in this annual conference.
