The Pankaj Roy Cricket Academy Now In Berhampore

Former Indian cricket player Pranab Roy, son of the late Pankaj Roy, inaugurated the Pankaj Roy Cricket Academy of LMET International School in Berhampore. Pranab Roy emphasized that this academy will be unique during the opening ceremony, which took place on the anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s birth.
“No other academy will be like this one. I shall personally oversee the operation of this academy bearing my father’s name. Without a doubt, I shall travel to Berhampore at least once per month. Earlier, I was unable to start an academy in my father’s name. In Kolkata, there was one, but it has been closed for a while. But I shall continue to have strong ties to this Berhampore school”, said Pranab Roy.
“Our goal is to see at least one boy or girl from this school go on to represent the Bengal cricket team. We shall take all necessary steps to achieve it,” said Prakash Ghosh, the school chairman.
Abhishek De Sarkar, the founder of Advent Education, has even more ambitious goals. “This school’s students play cricket regularly and compete in national competitions. There is already a pathway. We must expand upon it,” he said.
A great opportunity for upcoming cricket talents.
